Collaborate: Space

Collaborate was inspired by the Online tv show Hit-Record TV. A program where the Creative world at large was invited to Collaborate on an original idea.

Our Creative students work within their own streams collaborating all year, however, in this project they are collaborating with creatives from outside their stream. This makes for an exciting and adventurous creative project. Students learn more about their gifts in this context, being pushed out of their comfort zone and into someone else’s allows them to grow and be stretched and create.

Space is about the space in between... the cracks and the possibilities that exist in the cracks.Space is also the creative space that exists for all artists, it is sacred and fragile but also a place of change. Space can also be the space we don't allow ourselves, where we prefer to fill it up rather than just allow it.  Space has been explored from all angles by the students it would seem, too many to list and varying media styles including, short film, animation, song, visual art and more. The students in their collaborative space have challenged the theme, each other and the space in which they create.
