During their time at C3 College, students experience many different areas of ministry and serving through their internships. Every student is required to intern during the year, which gives incredible opportunities for them to apply what they’re learning in the classroom, to ministry areas they are passionate about.

“I intern for Katie Haldane. She is an amazing theologian, lecturer at C3 College, and creator of Trash your Bible. I assist her with researching and writing teaching material, as well as developing and framing courses of various kinds. What I love most about my internship is the opportunity be around great people like Katie, who love what they are doing and are excelling in it. One of the best ways to learn is to be around someone who is doing what you want to learn, and I am so grateful to have the opportunity to do so.”

"For my C3 College Internship, I get to lead the C3 Kids worship team. We serve in the kids service on Sunday mornings leading praise and worship there, and write our own C3 Kids songs throughout the year! Serving in kids ministry is challenging at times, however, it is the most amazing thing getting to hear the kids sing praises to God and worship Him through songs that we have written. Doing kids ministry is not just baby sitting. It is empowering the future generation to live their lives in relationship with God, loving one another and showing His love to the world as we are all called to do!"

“I lead part of the college production team for my internship. I take care of the screens & lights roster for chapel, and any other college related event. A big part of my internship is also training people on how to use the screens and lights. I love it because I’m able to teach people new skills they can take back to their own church, and I’m also able to meet new people and create life-long friendships.”

“I intern with my beautiful church, C3 People in Newcastle! I am a part of the amazing service coordinating team. I have the privilege of organising and coordinating our Sunday services, and helping to prepare a place for people to come, feel welcomed, seen, loved and connect with Jesus. I love interning with C3 Newcastle because I love His house…there is nothing else like it! I love being a part of a church community that loves all people, has BIG vision and pursues all things creative. I love being a part of a team that prepares a place for people to gather, know God, find community and discover their purpose. I’m so lucky to have incredible pastors and leaders that believe in me and inspire me daily. Doing this internship and C3 College has been the best decision I’ve ever made for my faith and discovering my place in the body of Christ!”

"Josh and I are interning with an organisation called Open Doors. If you haven’t heard of them, google them and prepare to be amazed! They are an amazing Christian organisation that supports the persecuted church all around the world. Josh and I are Open Doors' Australia and New Zealand’s first interns, and we work in the office helping with supporter engagement, new campaigns, and pretty much anything we want to get involved in! What we both love the most about the role is the amazing team that we get to work alongside. They are so knowledgeable and passionate when it comes to the kingdom of God, and so supportive and encouraging when it comes to working with us, we know that they really value our input. It’s such an amazing way to get a taste of the global mission of the church and how so many different organisations form the one body of Christ in outworking that.”

"I am a 2nd year leadership student and as a part of my course, I intern as the team leader of the C3 Store. I am the store manager's right hand woman! Most recently over Presence Conference 2019, I was responsible for training and leading the store team. This included customer service/experience training, stock take, some minor accounting, visual merchandising, and store break down, just to name a few. I love my internship because I have an amazing manager, I learn something new every time I am in the office, and it has allowed me to meet some of the most incredible people. It also reminds me to invite God into every aspect of my life; both private worship and my professional life."

"My internship is in the Music Department at C3 Oxford Falls with Dan Korocz, who is the Sydney Worship Pastor! I do a bunch of different tasks - admin, emails, meetings, conference prep and helping out with wherever is needed! My internship has given me a lot of insight into the behind-the-scenes of a worship team, beyond a Sunday service. I love being around people who love worship, who love Jesus, and who work hard to bring excellence, community and a deeper awareness of the presence of God into the worship of our church. I’m so thankful for C3 College and the opportunities I have been given!"
