MUSICIANS (VOCALISTS, GUITARISTS, KEYBOARDISTS, DRUMMERS):
Submit a collection of recordings showcasing your musical abilities. Below are instructions for your submission:
Please ensure your submissions are video recordings (we want to see that it’s you performing!)
We recommend providing 2-3 samples of you performing, each approximately 20-30 seconds in length.
These samples should show different songs/genres, one of them being a worship song.
Provide the raw audio of your recording. Please don’t edit your recordings in any way that would distort the original performance (i.e. quantise, autotune, reverb (for vocalists).
Write a short outline of your experience, skills and knowledge performing on your chosen instrument/s
What we are looking for:
Evidence of some knowledge + skill on chosen instrument (i.e. can sing/play in tune and in time)
SONGWRITERS:
Submit a collection of your songwriting. Below are instructions for your submission:
Please provide 2-3 samples of songs you have written. Each sample needs to include an audio recording and a lyric sheet. You don’t need to provide scores or charts.
Your recordings don’t need to be mixed or mastered. Raw audio is fine.
Write a short outline of your experience, skills and knowledge performing on your chosen instrument/s
What we are looking for:
Evidence of some knowledge + skill on chosen instrument (i.e. can sing/play in tune and in time)
Evidence of some experience in composing lyrics and melody
We want to see that you’ve got some skills as a musician or songwriter. You don’t have to know everything, and we aren’t looking for perfection! If we feel that you require some additional training before coming to College, we can point you in the right direction to get you ready to study with us.
